Robert Blankenship – President, Founder, and Chief Executive Officer
Robert L. Blankenship is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hispanic
Interactive Networks, Inc. Mr. Blankenship received a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego in 1996. During
his tenure at UCSD, Mr. Blankenship completed a study abroad program in Granada,
Spain where he learned Spanish and first began formulating ideas for Spanish-language
Internet services. Upon graduation, Mr. Blankenship spent a considerable amount
of time traveling throughout Latin America and living in Mexico. Through these experiences
he became fluent in Spanish, developed a keen insight into the Hispanic culture,
and solidified his ideas for launching Spanish-language Internet services.
Mr. Blankenship has been involved in internet development since 1997 and has held
several senior development positions with internet companies including ConnextionX,
ClassiFIND Network, and Intel, a fortune 500 company. He also designed and developed
online products used by other well-known U.S. companies including NBC and the Los
In 2001, Mr. Blankenship began to implement his vision for an Internet company servicing
the Hispanic market with the launch of MejorAmor.com. Relying upon his relentless
drive to succeed, technical acumen, and extensive managerial skills forged from
his business experiences, Mr. Blankenship built MejorAmor.com into one of the leading
online matchmaking companies servicing the Hispanic market. Mr. Blankenship is now
looking to duplicate his success with MejorAmor.com across the array of services
offered by Hispanic Interactive Networks, Inc.
Greg Simmons – Chief Financial Officer
Greg Simmons assumes the role of Chief Financial Officer and provides financial
and accounting service to Hispanic Interactive Networks, Inc. on an as needed basis.
Mr. Simmons holds a degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting
from Cal State University at Fullerton. Mr. Simmons has over 15 years of financial
management and operational experience as a CFO for businesses ranging from closely
held start-ups to venture backed organizations. Mr. Simmons financial managerial
experience extends over a variety of industries including home infusion therapy,
physician practice management, medical device manufacturing and telecommunications.
Mr. Simmons has vast experience working with start ups having been a participating
owner in four companies leading them financially from inception to sale.
Krishnan William Coughran – Vice President Corporate Affairs & Business Development
Mr. Coughran has a B.A. Degree in Political Science from UCSD and a Juris Doctorate
Degree from the University of San Diego. Additionally, Mr. Coughran is a graduate
of the University of San Diego’s International Institute of Comparative Law Program
in Paris, France and also holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License. Mr. Coughran
is experienced in the representation of small businesses and professionals as a
litigating attorney. He brings his international and business acumen to Hispanic
Interactive Networks, Inc. where he manages its multiple legal needs.
